Give a Financial Contribution
LifeMoves relies on generous financial support from the community. Your gift ensures that we can continue to provide high quality, effective services year-round. Donate Now

Donate in Honor of a Friend or Family Member
Make a financial donation to LifeMoves in honor of a loved one. We will mail the honoree a special holiday card with artwork created by children at our shelters. Donate Now

Host a “Party with a Purpose”
Instead of traditional presents, ask your friends, family, or coworkers to bring a cash gift for neighbors in need to your next holiday gathering.

Every LifeMoves client participating in housing services will receive two holiday gift wishes. You can make these wishes come true by “adopting” a family or individual. Purchase a single gift, or shop for a whole family!

Donate a Thanksgiving or Holiday Dinner Basket.
With your donation of gift cards and/or dinner baskets, every family in LifeMoves programs will be able to enjoy a holiday meal together.

Host a Gift Drive Ask your friends, family or co-workers to bring gifts for homeless neighbors. Most needed items include gift cards ($30 value), linens, new socks and undergarments.

Plan a Holiday Party at a Shelter
Host a party or a “Cookies & Carols” event at one of our shelter residences with your friends, co-workers, or volunteer group. A festive celebration makes the holidays bright and memorable for our clients.

Provide and Serve Holiday Meals
Gather a group of your friends or co-workers to provide and serve a special meal to our residents. On Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, or New Year’s Day—in addition to weekends (Saturdays and Sundays) throughout the year.

Click here to find availability and sign up to provide a meal.

Decorate a Shelter
Volunteer with a group of your friends or colleagues to bring in decorations and turn a shelter into a winter wonderland.
