The Branham/Monterey community in San Jose will comprise 180 units for single adults and 24 flexible units for multigenerational adult families. It will become the city’s largest quick-build community and the city’s only development so far that is multistory. The community consists of three stories of prefabricated modular units, reducing construction time and cost. Homekey Branham Lane is the latest evolution in innovative design.
San Jose has the fourth-highest number of people experiencing homelessness per capita in the U.S. based on a recent survey. Homekey Branham Lane, developed by LifeMoves, will be the second community to open in San Jose within the past two years. The first, Guadalupe, was built by the City of San Jose and is operated by LifeMoves. This site features 96 prefabricated modular units and offers support services aimed at empowering individuals to achieve self-sufficiency and long-term housing stability. One of our clients noted of their experience: “It’s not a shelter—the community here, we’re all like family.
