LifeMoves Board of Directors Launches National Search for Next Chief Executive Officer
Russell Reynolds Associates selected to lead executive search process
SAN JOSÉ, Calif. — August 6, 2026 —The LifeMoves Board of Directors today announced the launch of a national search for the organization’s next Chief Executive Officer and has retained Russell Reynolds Associates, one of the world’s leading executive search and leadership advisory firms, to lead the process.
Following a competitive selection process, the Board’s CEO Search Committee chose Russell Reynolds for its exceptional track record in CEO recruitment, deep expertise in the nonprofit and social impact sector, and thoughtful approach to stakeholder engagement and inclusive search practices. The firm’s dedicated Social Impact practice has extensive experience partnering with nonprofit organizations, foundations, higher education institutions, and public sector organizations to identify transformational leaders.
As the largest provider of interim housing and supportive services for people experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley, LifeMoves serves thousands of individuals and families each year through a comprehensive continuum of housing, case management, employment support, and housing navigation services. The Board is seeking a visionary leader who will guide LifeMoves through its next chapter of growth, innovation and community impact.

The search is expected to conclude by the end of the calendar year. Over the coming weeks, Russell Reynolds will engage a broad cross-section of stakeholders, including Board members, employees, donors, community partners, and government leaders, to gather perspectives that will help shape the leadership profile and inform the search process.
