LifeMoves Welcomes Four New Members to Board of Directors
New board members bring experience across technology, finance, business and community leadership to support LifeMoves’ mission.
SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Wednesday, September 30, 2026 —LifeMoves, one of the largest providers of interim housing and supportive services for individuals and families experiencing homelessness in Silicon Valley, today announced the appointment of Jessica Baron, Scott Goree, Shari Guggenhime and Andrew Lookingbill to its Board of Directors.
The four new members bring extensive experience spanning technology and artificial intelligence, finance and investment, business growth, operations and community leadership. Their perspectives will strengthen the Board as LifeMoves continues its work to help individuals and families across San Mateo and Santa Clara counties return to stable housing.

The appointments come as LifeMoves looks toward its next chapter and continues strengthening its approach to addressing homelessness through interim housing, supportive services, partnerships and pathways to permanent housing.
Jessica Baron

Jessica Baron is Chief Financial Officer and Partner at Venrock, where she leads the firm’s Finance team and oversees financial reporting for its investment funds, finance and accounting operations, investor relations and LP reporting. She also works closely with Venrock’s legal team on fundraising, operations and regulatory compliance.
Previously, Baron served as Chief Operating Officer of Acrew Capital and SVB Capital and as CFO of Hercules Capital. She holds a B.A. in Human Biology and an M.S. in Sociology from Stanford University and an M.B.A. from UC Berkeley’s Haas School of Business. She lives in Menlo Park with her husband and three children.
Scott Goree

Scott Goree leads the global partner organization for Delinea. Previously, he served as SVP of Partners & Commercial Sales at Optiv and VP of Global Partners and Head of Americas Sales at Skyhigh Security, formerly McAfee Enterprise. At Skyhigh, he served as the company’s first global channel chief and helped grow channel-sourced revenue from 12% to more than 30% in his first year.
Goree has also held leadership roles at Nutanix, Pure Storage and Cisco and has been recognized as a CRN Channel Chief and a Top 50 Channel Influencer by Channel Futures. He earned degrees in Management and Computer Studies from the University of Maryland and is a U.S. Air Force veteran, where he served as a Civil Engineer. He lives in San Jose with his wife and two sons.
Shari Guggenhime

Shari Guggenhime began her career at Goldman Sachs, where she held investment banking and operating roles, including Chief of Staff to the head of the Wealth Management Division and Business Unit Manager for several wealth and asset management business units. She later joined the Stanford Graduate School of Business, advising MBA students pursuing careers in finance.
Guggenhime currently serves as Chief of Staff at Porte + Hall, an e-commerce home décor brand, after previously serving as the company’s Chief Operating Officer. She holds an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management and a B.B.A. from the University of San Diego. She has also served on the board of the Los Lomitas Education Foundation and volunteered actively in local schools. She lives in Menlo Park with her husband and has three grown children.
Andrew Lookingbill

Andrew Lookingbill has spent the past 19 years at Google Maps, working on the platform’s 3D model and underlying map data. With an educational background in artificial intelligence and robotics, his work has included applying AI to complex problems.
Lookingbill holds a Ph.D. and M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University and a B.S.E. from Princeton University. He lives in Santa Clara with his wife and two daughters.
Strengthening Leadership for the Future
LifeMoves’ Board of Directors provides governance, strategic oversight and leadership in support of the organization’s mission to help individuals and families experiencing homelessness return to stable housing and achieve greater self-sufficiency.
The addition of Baron, Goree, Guggenhime and Lookingbill expands the breadth of experience represented on the Board and brings new perspectives from across Silicon Valley and the broader Bay Area business community.
